For Dr. Ayeni, becoming a physician was almost a right of passage. From a strong family, his father and mentor, a retired General Surgeon who earned the nickname “The General,” and mother, Mrs. Titi Ayeni, the household “Chief of Staff” instilled into their children the values of selflessness, dedication, compassion, unmatched work ethic, and commitment.

Today, this proud father of two young boys shares the medical stage and name, with siblings Dr. Olufemi Ayeni M.D., PHD (Orthopedic Surgeon), Dr. Bimpe Ayeni M.D., MPH (Plastic Surgeon), and Dr. Buki Ayeni M.D., MPH (Plastic Surgeon), and sister Mrs. Bunmi Obateru (BSc, MBA). Those visiting the Ayeni Plastic Surgery Institute benefit from the vast collective knowledge the siblings bring and, if lucky enough, will even receive a surprise visit from “The General” himself.

While Dr. Ayeni brings a unique blend of technical expertise and knowledge through his extensive surgical training, you will quickly experience his genuine and compassionate personality not overshadowed but complemented by his confident, light-hearted spirit. He has an innate ability to listen and connect with his patients, normalizing their concerns while addressing their desired outcomes in a manner that puts them at ease and makes them feel excited.

"Often when meeting patients for the first time, there is a sense of vulnerability. Whether it's a simple touch-up or larger-scale transformative procedure, they often are a little unsure. I take great pride in listening and making each patient feel comfortable. By leading with compassion, I am then able to connect my patients with their confidence - which is truly a blessing.”

Come for the care, stay for the dad jokes, leave with confidence.
